Rani Kanna is a Masters degree holder in applied linguistics pursuing her PhD in child psychology. Rani firmly believes Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. She has undergone special training for teaching arts to preschoolers. Accordingly, she has directed a number of plays, including musicals, specifically for small children. Rani has mastered the art of professional storytelling and has organized a number of literary events. She has been awarded the voice-over talent for Disney cartoons in Tamil. A research paper in language acquisition is next on her plate as she simultaneously juggles with her passion for educating the children.

An avid explorer of the Theatre and Fine Arts since childhood, Anandha Kannan is a gregarious, animated and engaging artist. He is the Founder Director of AK Theatre Limited (Singapore), (a theatre which stages plays for children), Creative director of Anandha Koothu Trust and Artistic Director of AKT Creations. A Singapore Film commission council scholar, he is a passionate performer keen to share his vast knowledge, insights and love for the theatre with students of all walks of life. He has been awarded as International Youth Icon in World Universities Youth Conference (2008), Best Actor in Television Actors Guild Award (South India 2008) and Best Anchor Pradhana Vizha 2012 (Singapore TV Awards).
KALAH RAJESH KANNAN
Our resident special needs educator Kalah is a well beloved emcee and popular actor. Dedicated to the field for 28 years, Kalah believes every child born on earth has the rights to Education the fun way! After completing her National Institute of Education Diploma in Teaching, she followed her heart and switched over to special care needs. She is a professional storyteller, and a performing artiste on stage and television. Kalah has been involved with the National Heritage Board in creating the International Award winning Singapore Little Treasures program for preschool teachers. One of the feathers in her cap is the Musical for Special Kids which received a standing ovation.
Rajesh Kannan is an actor, creator, writer and music director rolled into one. On the field for the last 3 decades, he has been a crucial part of more than 100 stage and television productions. An experienced Director of Traditional art form presentations like Therukoothu, Bommalattam, Contemporary and Fusion Works, he is also a veteran television program director specializing in children genre and arts education. His strong penchant for music has led to his conceiving and composing many songs, in addition to successful musical events such as Singa, Parameswaran and Kattiyangaran Manikam.
