Celebrations - Its based on a Indian Mythological character Asuran. Asuran is a demon who is personified as a person whose killing the joy of family bonding in the current days. We will be highlighting traditional art forms such Kummi or Kolattam which is done as group. The family is involved in Kummi to symbolize bonding. The play is about a simple girl finding the solution to overcome the curse given by the Asura to her family. It ends with Asura turning over a new leaf and becoming part of the family. Together they celebrate auspious Deepavali/Pongal in the Indian ancient way.
